Artistic Approach:

I am a full time practicing artist using various mediums and techniques, including graphite, watercolour, coloured pencil, acrylic and printmaking. I run a number of workshops from home and away and am a strong advocate of Nature Journaling. I live in Sumner, Christchurch.

My work focuses on the natural world around me and reflects my strong conservational and ecological ties with it.  I have extensive expertise in working artistically in this field, including in many of the more remote corners of New Zealand such as, the Subantarctic islands of New Zealand, Rakiura/ Stewart Island, Fiordland and the South Island high country.

I have been fortunate to receive a number of scholarships and awards and have exhibited extensively.
